Fair Use Policy and System Limits (Legacy, 2016)
Fair use and system limits to safequard the integrity of our service
This Fair Use Policy (FUP) forms an integral part of the Contentful Terms of Service between you and Contentful GmbH that govern your use of Contentful software and the services. Terms used but not defined below, shall have the meaning outlined in the Contentful Terms of Service. If you do not agree with this FUP, do not use any of company software or the services. The limits outlined below apply solely to the current plans, the legacy plans (introduced before 2016) are subject to the legacy plan limits.
Self-service tier usage limits
Contentful Small, Medium, and Large plans come with the following fair use limits:

| Bandwidth | 1 | TB per month per organization |
The quotas listed above are measured on a monthly basis and reset to zero on the first day of a new period. For example, if you signed up on a 15th, your usage period is set to be from 15th to 15th of a calendar month.
The Small, Medium, and Large plans are also subject to system limits, imposed to ensure an uninterrupted functioning of the shared service infrastructure:

System limits are cumulative and can be reset only when organization users delete individual items.
If you require higher limits, consider upgrading to the Enterprise service tier, which comes with higher default limits and ability to purchase custom usage quotas for your organization.
If your service usage exceeds the limits listed above, we reserve the right to take corrective action, including but not limited to the throttling of the service API, temporarily suspending or - when other options are unavailable - terminating your account.
Enterprise tier usage limits
Unless agreed otherwise in the service contract, the organizations with enterprise plans are subject to the following fair use limits:
