Content creators often collaborate with editors, writers and photographers to name a few. Moreover, editors aren't working only in the Contentful UI – there are a lot of great tools for various tasks. Wouldn't it be wonderful if these tools could talk to each other and exchange data?
So we thought. Contentful is integrated with Zapier, a web service which helps automate everyday routine tasks on the web. It connects 300+ services like Gmail, Dropbox, Twitter, Evernote, Trello and dozens of others, and enables building custom workflows that match "if this happens, then do that" needs.
A Zapier workflows are very appropriately called Zaps, and on the webinar César, our customer success specialist, will introduce three Contentful zaps:
- Trello can create a card every time you create a new entry. That's a great way to discuss work.
- Gmail can send an email every time a new entry is published so you would be aware of your team's progress.
- Google Sheets can convert new rows of a specific spreadsheet into new entries in Contentful. How neat.
He will present how they work, highlight the benefits and demonstrate how to set up these workflow for yourself. Also, you might want to have a look at all the Contentful zaps available – there's plenty.
